Finally I got the new layout up. So here’s the beginning of a long and frustrating story. I had made a layout before, one featuring Vanessa Hudgens. It was so cute and simple. Then after I put it up, I noticed how small it was and it wasn’t particularly my style. So I went off searching for new pictures or something inspirational to make a new layout. That took like, two whole days. While I was just on the verge of tears and my hands were about to fall off, I tried these pictures of Leighton Meester and it all turned into this. It’s not my best layout, but hey it’s a new layout! i really hope everyone likes it.

I didn’t do that many updates because of the layout drama, and not just the site layout drama but that stupid myspace drama! I HATE myspace! I can’t believe I have to do new layouts all over again, just when I thought I was progressing in the layout department I have to do them all over again. Just my luck right? Myspace fails at life. Anyway, this week I’ll be adding a lot of different things, promise. Please suggest what kind of tutorials you would like to see. Hopefully it’s something I can do, lol. I’ll be doing lots of coloring tutorials too. I on this big icon kick too, so I just might revamp the entire icon section and make some more LiveJournal worthy.

I really can’t wait until September. So many exciting things are happening! My 16^th birthday, my nephew’s 1^st birthday, One Tree Hill&Gossip Girl return, and I get to have my first job! Extra money in my pocket? Yes please! I make nothing off of this site. But then again, Yoursixteen is still a baby, so what can you do

So the truth is I have been kind of decking this site, but only because I’m trying to get a BLAST of updates and didn’t want to post until I get them ready. I have been caught up in the summer and I’m really sorry for not updating. I know I probably said all this before (maybe even in the last post) but it was kind of hard to get any ideas on what to update since no one ever answered the survey. It’s okay though, I have plans. Please just bare with me and stick around, I’ll have some goodies very soon! Stick with me

New layout is now up! I decided to go for one that didn’t have any images, and try my hand at my photoshop skills. For my first layout in this style, I think it looks pretty good. What do you think? Speaking of, I was going to do a bunch of updates, but I don’t know where to start! It would be really helpful to fill out these five questions and send it in a comment!

I’m currently re-organizing the site to make it easier to navigate through. Though, I think the new sidebar looks really neat and keeps from all the the extra link clutter. Also, I worked literally all day on the comment template to get those gravatars working and the template to just look overall- better. Tell me wat you think of it! The default gravatar is obviously the one that says Yoursixteen, but if your wondering how to change it to something more you, go sign up to gravatar.com! One more thing, the google ads are back, due to it being summertime and I’m pretty broke! They’re out of the way at the bottom of the page, and don’t worry, I won’t ever go overboard on the ads with pop ups and all that. I can promise you on that one, haha.

Sorry for the delay on all the updates and such! BUT my summer has officially begun! I got so stressed out with all the year end work like I always do. Last year, my hair was falling out from stress, and this year I woke up with a swollen eye! It was SO weird! I never had anything like that happen to me before. I woke up and went into my mom’s room to say good morning, & when she saw my face, she told me to look in the mirror and I screamed But I’m all better now, and I don’t look like a monster, haha. Actually as soon as I was done my work, everything cleared and now I’m trying to focus on being stress free

I finished a new site layout, so expect that up soon. I’m also going to be working on a HUGE update of all kinds of new stuff. And yes, It’s going to really happen. I’m sorry for the lack of updates this past week. I’m pretty caught up. After this next week I’ll officially be free for the summer, no worries and can update all you guys want! So until then, I hope you enjoy the stuff that’s already here! I think I have some pretty good content for a site that’s only been up since about march… uh right? lmao, I hope so. OMG has anyone heard of Miley Cyrus’ latest photo scandal, rofl hilarious. And Lindsay Lohan is supposed to be in some type of relationship with a girl and they’re engaged? Wow, everyone in Hollywood is crazy. DISNEY CORRUPTS YOUNG GIRLS! Also has anyone heard of this band called the Ting Tings? They are super awesome! I saw their cd and bought it on impulse (lol) and I love it, it’s so fun! I recommend everyone check them out, they have that one song “shut up and let me go” on the ipod commercials.

God I wish this month was just over and done with. Well I have a new layout, which at first I didn’t like but I think it’s growing on me. Plus I have like the hugest crush on Chad and James And of course the lovely Hilary, Sophia, and Joy. Speaking of, the One Tree Hill finale was awesome for me. **Spoiler warning if you haven’t seen the finale**Dan can’t die! I know Dan is crazy and just plain evil but he brings all the drama to the show! But actually I don’t see the point of him this season with everyone hating him, there’s no one for him to manipulate into believing his crap.The whole Lucas going to Vegas cliffhanger I saw coming, I knew they wouldn’t tell us who he picked until season 6. And as for Gossip Girl… to be honest I really didn’t like how it ended. I was finally starting to think everyone grew up and the show was developing some heart, but obviously not with it all being obvious who everyone would be hooking up with next. It was seriously lacking for me and I don’t think I’ll be tuning in next season….

OMG I love that song, && the video. Well I made some more minor updates! One wallpaper and two blends. Not sure if those blends are staying up though. Tell me if I should keep them? I would have made more updates, but my sister wants to use this computer. So I hope everyone is enjoying the new layout. I really like it. So today my stupid alarm clock decided to wake me up an hour earlier than I was supposed to be up, and I couldn’t fall back asleep. Actually today was really boring. I sat and watched SNL’s Most Memorable moments of the E! channel, lmao. OMG how good was Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill the other night? I couldn’t even watch anything else after watching OTH, I was too jittery. Lucas is acting like such a jerk. And the promo for next week? Why was he shirtless in a bar?!? So I finally made some updates! There not as much as I had hoped, but every little bit helps There will be lots more myspace layouts because I have some cool stylesheets in mind, I just haven’t gotten the time to make them all. Also I’ll be putting a new site layout up soon, I’m thinking of putting up one of a really hot guy By the way, there’s this really sweet person who gives me the nicest comments and I really just want to say thank-you to Alicia. Anywho, the school year is almost at an end! This was a really fast year. I’m really worried about stuff, considering I have some work backed up. I’ve caught up to this amount of work before, but it’s just so hard to do it all over again, you know? I have so much to get done.

I’m sorry!! It’s been like forever ago since I’ve made any real updates, I’m really stressed out about school work and a bunch of other stuff. I haven’t been getting like, any sleep lately and right now I’m literally trying to keep myself from falling on the keyboard, MY EYES! I do have some icons done but it’s not a lot so I’m just going to put them up once I’m done all of them, which won’t be long, promise! I haven’t gotten to the big stuff yet, I tried doing blends but they all came out sucky. Any ideas on who you want for blends (celebs, models, etc)?

Anyways I was just posting this quick thing so everyone knows I’m AM working on the stuff and I haven’t run off to Taiwan But gosh I’d sure love to run off to wherever that icon picture is from and just relax. Never take sleep for granted, and go to bed at your bedtime kiddies!

That I typed up a whole blog entry and somehow I lost my tab and now I have to do this over. Lovely. Not to mention I had already lost it twice before, so this would be the third time writing it. Well the name of this new layout is “Little Miss Obsessive” considering it’s Ashlee’s new single, I love the her new CD, and I get a little obsessed with details with designs As for updates I added a new category and there’s a premade website layout. Hey my little Sunflowers! Thought I might update on the latest with me and the site. So, I finally got the Google ads up! I must have did something wrong before, because they were easy squeezey to put up Yes, yes, I’m still working on that frickin list. Looking at those 26 myspace lyts on there makes me cringe. I hate myspace lyts. Probably has something to do with the fact that I pretty much hate mypace anyway, but let’s keep that between us The fun part about that list is the site layouts and icons. And my hunt for brushes still isn’t going all that great

So, I’ve taken to the conclusion that I cannot sing, draw, or dance. Where is my artistic, creative, abilities? -tear- There goes my dream of being international, pop, superstar diva Dionna! rofl. Um, just kidding. Well that sure was random, and weird… moving on then…

Edit: Alright, Mondays are like, the official best day of the week! I get to see Gossip Girl at 8pm, One Tree Hill at 9pm, CSI:Miami at 10pm and the Hills at 11pm. It’s like tv show heaven for me!

Hey everyone! I Just wanted to update so no one thinks i deserted the site ;). I’ve been trying to get Google ads on here, but I can’t seem to figure it out. I got it on here, but it messed up all my other codes, so I took it down. Guess I’ll just keep practicing until I get it. That’s how I learn best! Well theres 12 new icons in the resource section. I’m working on wallpapers, more image graphics, and myspace layouts! I’ve just been kind of busy this week. But the weekend’s coming, so yay for updates!

So I spent about 15 bucks on advertising at different sites, that’s like an album and five singles on itunes!! Sorry, I’m a little obsessed with the itunes store, haha. Speaking of, I bought the first Paramore CD (All We Know Is Falling) the other day, it’s SO great. Everyone was making a big deal of the song “My Heart” on the album reviews, and I gotta say they were right. I love it so much I made an icon of the lyrics, hah.

And I can’t tell you how many one tree hill episodes i buy, I don’t even have enough memory on ipod left! So as you can imagine I’m SUPER excited for Monday night’s premiere. I hope Peyton and Lucas get back together!!! What do you think?

I finished! There still has to be categories added, and more content to be made, but the basics are finished! I put up my new layout (basically because I couldn’t wait nor stand the other one) and my side bar is all ready! I need affiliates, but I’ll attack that tomorrow, or later today considering it’s 5:41am. But as of now this site is officially open, WOOO!

Putting all your content on your site, let me tell you right now, not a walk in the park. This is taking days and days, and I’m still not finished! I guess that’s because I keep erasing everything and doing it over… yeah that’s probably it. Well, I have most of the content up, and I could open if I really wanted to, but, I want to wait until everything is up and it’s all to my satisfaction. I do have two [site] layouts, and one I love, so I’m put the new one up as soon as I’m done. The other one I’ll save for another time. Soo, one of the things I’m having problems with are brushes. I can’t draw, therefore my brushes suck, therefore, I have none. I’m thinking of stealing scrap drawings from the artesy people I know, trust me, there’s a bunch. Also, I’m having trouble with the section called “YourSpot”. I wanted that to be more of a fun, boredom-buster section. Too bad I can’t think of anything. Oh well, something will come to me. Anyone (who might be reading this) with ideas welcome to tell me!
